Portugal winger, Luis Carlos Almeida, alias Nani, has joined Valencia from Fenerbahçe on a three-year contract for a fee around 8.5m Euros (£7.2m).
The 29-year-old who played for Manchester United from 2007 to 2015, will be part of his national side’s line-up in Wednesday’s Euro 2016 semi-final against Wales in Lyon.
He featured in all five of his country’s games in France en route to the last four – scoring twice and assisting once.
A statement from Valencia read: “Valencia Club de Futbol have reached an agreement with Portuguese international Luis Carlos Almeida – ‘Nani’ – for the player to join the club for the next three seasons.
“He is currently in France with the Portuguese national team, who will play in the Euro 2016 semi-finals against Wales this Wednesday.

During his time at Old Trafford, Nani was part of Sir Alex Ferguson’s successful side and won the Premier League four times as well as the 2008 Champions League final.
