Arsenal footballer, Alexis Sanchez, has opened an Instagram account for his beloved dogs, Atom and Humber.
The Chilean is a notorious lover of canines, frequently sharing pictures of various escapades with his pair of golden retrievers for the whole world to see.
From heart-warming pictures to stitching their names on his football boots, Sanchez has shown over and over how good a friend he is.
The Chilean even starred alongside his dogs in an advert for pet food that involves the three of them playing football in his back yard.
And the 27-year-old seem to have taken this obsession to the next level by setting up an Instagram page for them.
Launched on Sunday, the account amassed around 13,000 followers in less than 24 hours.
Sanchez who himself has over four million followers, might soon see his pets overtake him going by the rush.
He said: “There is a beautiful legend that tells us that animals are voluntary souls, without the gift of words, who have come to show man the value of his actions, of solidarity, of acceptance, of freedom and the value of teamwork…. and the more important the love.”
Sanchez and Arsenal started the Premier League season poorly. They slipped 4-3 at home to Liverpool in the season’s opener followed by a barren draw away to Leicester City on Saturday.
The player might have to seek solace in his pets – that’s if the Gunners continue to disappoint this season.
