Having kids out of wedlock is a favourite pastime for many Nigerian male celebrities. They flaunt their babies but marriage is not on their immediate agenda.
Here are names of seven Nigerian celebrities who have no intention of marrying their baby mamas.
- Olamide
Fondly called Baddo, Olamide Adedeji welcomed a son, Batifeori, with long time girlfriend, Aishat Suleiman, in January 2015. The singer, who had former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, at his son’s naming ceremony, is very proud to be a dad. But despite having the baby with a young woman he has known for a long while, the YBNL boss is not walking down the altar anytime soon.
- Davido
David Adeleke, aka Davido, has a child with Sophia Momodu, cousin of media mogul, Dele Momodu. Hell will however freeze over before the spoilt rich boy will settle down with his baby mama even though he claims to love his daughter, Imade, like crazy. From allegation of child abduction to substance abuse, Davido and Sophia have washed enough dirty linen in public to make marriage impossible.

Ibrahim Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, is only 24 but he is already the father of a son, Boluwatife Balogun. The Star Boy label chief welcomed the boy with his baby mama, Sola Ogudu, in 2011. Some other woman also swears that he is the father of her child but he denies it. Wizkid’s music career is top priority now as he is set to release his international album, which means he is not thinking about marriage any time soon. Not even to rumoured girlfriend, Justin Skye.

Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke welcomed a son with 23-year-old Lithuanian girlfriend, Dana Kinduryte, last year. The actor is constantly on social media flaunting pictures of himself and his adorable son, Harvis Chidubem Iyke. There hasn’t been any sign of him wanting to settle down with is baby mama. He seems most happy to have had his son.

Joshua Iniyezo, better known by his stage name SolidStar, is on the list of baby daddies too. The 27-year-old welcomed a child with an anonymous woman who lives in the United Kingdom in 2015. From what we hear, the dude isn’t thinking about for marriage now. The ‘Oluchi’ calls his son the cutest and that is good enough for him.

Chinedu Okoli, the man known as Flavour, has a thing for beauty queens from whom he has managed to acquire two kids. In 2014, the singer had a daughter with ex-Delta Soap queen, Sandra Okagbue, and the second with a former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Anna banner. Unfortunately, he believes raising a family with a profession such as his would be a bad idea.

Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele is an afrobeat singer who rose to fame particularly with the release of his ‘Double Wahala’, inspired by Fela Kuti’s ‘Confusion Break Bone’. He has two daughters who are between ages 9 and 10 with two different baby mamas. Unsurprisingly, he has no plans whatsoever to marry either of the mothers of his daughters.
