At last, Davido’s Son of Mercy EP to drop September 30

Pop singer, Davido, has confirmed that his previously announced EP, titled Son of Mercy, will be released on September 30.

He made the announcement on social media on Wednesday.

Taking a dig at critics, the star reiterated that he was still very much around and thanked his fans and supporters for being patient with him.

It was earlier announced in August that instead of a sophomore album, the 23-year-old would release a double EP titled Son of Mercy.

The EP is expected to include collaborations with Jamaican singer Popcaan, Tinashe and Rae Sremmurd, among others.

Davido released his debut album, OBO (The Genesis), in 2012.

Since then, he has released smash hits like ‘Gobe’, ‘Skelewu’ and ‘Aye’.
