Paul Pogba’s record-breaking move to Manchester United from Juventus in the summer might not have gone as planned so far on the pitch.
This is because the Frenchman has obviously struggled to make a reasonable impact at Old Trafford – scoring just once in eight appearances.
However, the 23-year-old has been far superior off the pitch with his jersey replicas recording the highest sales so far in the Premier League according to Sportsdirect.
Aside Pogba, three other United superstars made the top 10, with Arsenal and Liverpool contributing two players each while Manchester City had no representative.
The second most popular shirts are Zlatan Ibrahimovic United tops, followed by Arsenal kit branded with Alexis Sanchez’s name.
Sadio Mane Liverpool shirts take fourth spot, while United goalkeeper jerseys with David de Gea’s name on the back complete the top five.
Marcus Rashford tops are the only ones featuring an Englishman to make the top 10, highlighting his brilliant breakthrough, less than a year after his first-team debut.
Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney, who held the honour of the top-selling replica shirt last season, has slipped in popularity, following a drop off of form and the arrival of star names at United.
His replica shirts are currently down in 13th spot.
