Enugu Rangers finally ended their 32-year wait for the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) last season.
The Flying Antelopes became only the second team to clinch a record seven league title – joint with Enyimba.
As it is the tradition in Europe and South America, the club decided to go on a title tour around all the 17 Local Government Areas in the state.
However, to the disbelief of many, the team began the celebration on Saturday in the state capital using a rickety, badly beat up 14-wheeler lumberjack Truck.
What was touted as a carnival around the metropolis became so embarrassing that fans had little choice but to give the club hard knocks.

With the rain on their parade over, players, officials and management of the club enjoyed a barbeque night at a spot in the city.
There was a lot of dancing and backslapping in the never say die manner the club is noted for.
We want thank the players and coaches of @RangersIntFC that honoured our invitation last night #12thManBBQ pic.twitter.com/tgvY1Op14J
