Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, is on collision course with former club, Lazio, over unpaid wages.
The 23-year-old, who spent four years at the Stadio Olimpico, moved to Turkish side, Trabzonspor, in the summer.
However, it is understood that the combative midfielder is yet to receive his outstanding salaries prior to his move to Turkey.
And the former youth international could be heading to FIFA if the Roman side fail to meet his demands.
“We have no option but to go to FIFA to ask the disciplinary committee to act on Lazio’s refusal to pay me,” Onazi told BBC Sport on Thursday.
“My agent and lawyer have written to Lazio, but after two months we have heard nothing from the club.”
“We all conclude that the only ideal thing to do is to approach FIFA to enable me get what I worked for.”
At the moment, Lazio have chosen to keep mute on the allegations made by Onazi.
The midfielder made 76 appearances for the Biancocelesti scoring four times.
