Singer Tiwa Savage’s estranged husband, Tunji “Teebillz” Balogun, has returned to social media six months after suffering a meltdown.
The former manager of the songstress posted a cryptic message on his Instagram page on Saturday quoting Indian revolutionary fighter, Mahatma Ghandi. He said, “We must become the CHANGE we seek in others.”
He also used the opportunity to thank his life coach, Lanre Olusola who said “Teebillz Has Changed from Within, Now Standing tall.”
Tiwa Savage and her husband had one of the most messy and publicly humiliating marriage scandals in Nigeria when Tunji accused his wife of cheating on him with some of her colleagues.
He also accused Tiwa’s mother of being a witch and hinted that he was going to kill himself because he didn’t have the “strength to fight this battle any more”, asking God to “forgive me and accept my soul in peace.”
He was said to have been prevented from jumping off the Lekki Bridge in Lagos by some of his closest friends like Banky W and Peter Okoye of P-Square.
In a bid to clear her name and that of her mother, 35-year-old Tiwa granted an interview where she labelled her husband an addict, thief and cheat.
Recent reports indicate the couple are working on reconciliation.
