Like their counterparts from the rest of the world, Nigeria footballers are known for their crazy obsession with online messaging service, Twitter.
These stars take to this platform to keep their fans abreast with happenings around them.
But many still find it rather tiring to properly organise their profiles which depicts their occupations as well as successes on the pitch.
Here are four of them.
- Osaze Odemwingie
Osaze Odemwingie is definitely one of Nigeria’s most active footballers on Twitter. The former Stoke City forward boasts over 200,000 followers and tweets virtually on a daily basis. But his bio carries an unimaginable bio which says “it’s a long story”.
- Brown Ideye
For a footballer who is top scorer in the Greek League, you would certainly have expected more from Brown Ideye. The Olympiacos forward posts prior and after games as well as share daily inspirational tips. However, his Twitter bio is probably the most ridiculous of them all because it is empty.
- Odion Ighalo
Watford forward, Odion Ighalo, is obviously having a torrid spell in front of goal. But it seems it isn’t just on the pitch that 27-year-old is having a tough time. Ighalo who used to be fun and active on Twitter has simply gone mute and his recent stunt in which he changed his profile to “25/04/2016” has absolutely gotten his fans confused.
- Ikechukwu Uche
Experience they say is the best teacher, but this isn’t the case for Ikechukwu Uche whose Twitter bio is still appalling despite being one of the country’s oldest footballers in the platform. Uche has been to two FIFA World Cups, an African champion and Africa’s second top scorer in Spain. But the former Villarreal man’s bio simply says “Football is my life, God is almighty.”
