Popular Nigerian musician, Sani Danja,has scored another point with the release of the video for his hit single ‘Alhaji’.
The man affectionately referred to as King of the North by his fans teams up with OMG – the director behind Ruggedman’s ‘Because of You’ and LKT’s ‘Alaye (Remix)’ ft. Davido –to deliver a crispy clear visual for the pop number heavily fused with the Northern Nigerian instrumentation.
“‘Alhaji’ has been enjoying rave review and airplay on Northern Nigerian Radio and only deserving of a visual that interprets it best,” says a statement by the artiste’s publicists.
“With ‘Alhaji,’ the entertainer shares his story, tells all about the hard work and struggle to break into the music scene outside of the North,” the statement continues.
The visual was shot in Cape Town in South Africa and Lagos, Nigeria.
