Super Eagles star, John Ogu, looked elsewhere as he picked his best defensive midfielders thus far season.
The 28-year-old combative midfielder for Israeli side, Hapoel Beer, obviously didn’t feel any of his national teammates have done enough this term to be considered amongst Europe’s elites.
Ogu has made 12 appearances for Nigeria playing alongside either Mikel Obi, Ogenyi Onazi or both, but apparently hasn’t been impressed by the pair.
In a series of Twitter posts on Wednesday night following Tottenham’s 2-0 victory over Chelsea, the former Akwa United star revealed his best defensive midfielders.
This was after he was left stunned by the contributions of Spurs’ Kenya skipper, Victor Wanyama, in the encounter.
My Eyes were on WANYAMA ..Super player ??????
