Filmmaker, music video director and broadcaster, Kemi Adetiba, clocked 37 on Sunday.

Director of Nollywood box office hit, The Wedding Party, Kemi is grateful, honoured and humbled that the Lord has been with her every step of the way.

The lawyer turned entertainment and multimedia guru, just like her iconic dad, Dele Adetiba, has touched many lives with a career which began as a little girl in two OMO detergent TV commercials many years ago.

Happy birthday KEMI. I vividly remember meeting you about one year ago and what a memorable time it was. The trip to Vegas, you taking one of my favourite pictures, sharing thoughts about food, whiskies and generally gisting like old friends. At that time neither of us knew that we would go on to work together and I am glad we did on #TheWeddingPartyMovie. Kemi I am proud to part of your first box office records breaking movie as I pray many more to come for you and let me just ask nicely that you please never let go of your spunk, quirkiness and passion as they are some of the best things that define you and I know you’re the type that like we say in Warri “I fit carry go last fight” knowing that any style wey dem bring come you no go fall my hand.
