Nine months after suffering a meltdown which saw him attempt to jump off the Lekki Bridge, Tiwa Savage’s husband, Tunji Balogun, has stepped up his campaign for mental health.
The man known as Tee Billz has recently publicly confessed to undergoing therapy after making damning allegations against his wife, her mother and male colleagues.
Tiwa, who had declared that it was over between the two, seems to have soften her stand too.
Evidence that the couple may be picking the pieces of their broken marriage was served when they were spotted together at Stephanie Coker’s traditional marriage on December 30.
Tee Billz followed that up with an Instagram post on Saturday saying, “I’m at a point in my life where I want my family happy, my faith strong, my health good, my mind right, my dollars tight and no unnecessary drama.”
And on Monday, he posted another message on the picture sharing social media platform.
Inspired by a quote by American actress, Kerry Washington, Tee Billz said mental health should be treated like other health conditions.
“Why are we so afraid to discuss mental health in our society?” he asked.
