Pop star, 2face Idibia, on Tuesday hosted billionaire oil contractor, Ayiri Emami, for a dinner at the singer’s home in Lagos.
Present at the dinner were friends and associates of both men.
A former musician, Emami is now known to sing the praise of former Delta State Governor, James Ibori, who was recently released from a London jail.
“His leadership style, peaceful disposition and rare ability to manage a complex state like Delta,” Emami said about his benefactor in a recent chat with Vanguard.
“Chief Ibori’s philosophy of empowering the youths, elderly people and encouraging entrepreneurship are virtues, which have influenced me till date.”
Emami it was who paid for Majek Fashek’s admission at a rehabilitation centre in Abuja in 2015.
Sadly, the troubled ‘Send Down the Rain’ singer and the moneyman fell apart after the former’s well publicised treatment.
