Super Eagles youngster, Wilfred Ndidi, could make his Premier League debut on Saturday according to his manager, Claudio Ranieri.
The 20-year-old who joined the Foxes last week from Genk impressed on his maiden appearance during the 2-1 Emirates FA Cup win over Everton at Goodison Park last weekend.
That superb performance caught the eyes of his Italian coach who suggests the Nigerian could feature when the reigning champions take on Antonio Conte’s table-topping Chelsea.
“I think so. I’ve been waiting this kind of performance,” the ex-Chelsea boss told the club’s official website on Thursday.
“I’m sure he’ll get better because the more he plays, the more he will understand the team.”
Saturdays clash could also see France midfielder, N’Golo Kante, return to the King Power Stadium after his summer switch to Chelsea.
