Inspired by her colleague, Kate Henshaw, Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, on Tuesday posted a funny video of her preparation for the Lagos City Marathon.
The Jenifa star had on Friday, January 13 posted a picture of some running shoes with a message to fitness enthusiast, Kate, that she wants to start working out like her.
Kate uploaded a picture two days later saying she was preparing for a marathon.
Not to be outdone, Funke enlisted the support of Akin Akinkugbe of Urban Vision to take on a training exercise for the Lagos Marathon.
Using the #iGetStamina hashtag, the University of Lagos Law graduate later confessed that she can’t run more than one kilometre.
Given her performance in the clip, it is doubtful she can run half a kilometre, let alone challenge Kate.
