Radio host, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Freeze, on Wednesday criticised Apostle Johnson Suleman for saying it will take one year to repair the damage that will occur in Nigeria if he (Suleman) is held for a day by the Department of State Service (DSS).
Suleman, known for preaching against alleged Islamisation of Nigeria and for calling on Christians to resist the killings by suspected Fulani herdsmen, was allegedly trailed to his hotel in Ekiti by DSS operatives on Wednesday morning.
That happened after the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide leader paid a courtesy visit to Governor Ayodele Fayose at the Government House, Ado-Ekiti.
After his reported release by Fayose, Suleman said Nigeria will suffer great damage if he is detained.
Wondering if the controversial clergy is above the law, Freeze in an Instagram post asked Suleman if he knew his statement amounted to treason.
“I understand that you are angry and you have a right to be, However, this is not the way to go about it. I still hold you in high esteem for your spirit of giving but I must say sir, this is ABSOLUTELY WRONG!” Freeze wrote.
