It was a brace of celebrations for Super Eagles youngster, Wilfred Ndidi, on Wednesday.
Just when the 20-year-old was firing a thunderous first goal in English football, he was also being celebrated for another tremendous strike in Belgium.
Ndidi came off the bench to put Leicester City in front in the FA Cup against Derby without knowing he had just won the Goal of the Year for his ferocious strike for Genk in a clash with Club Brugge.
The lanky midfielder, who only joined the Foxes in January, couldn’t hide his joy as he took to social networking service, Twitter, to celebrate the double milestone feat.
Lastnight was a good one I scored my first goal for my team Leicester & i was awarded goal of the year 2016 in Belgium wow,#itcanonlybeGod?

His goal ensured that Leicester defeated the visitors 3-1 and progressed to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Ndidi will be expected to continue his fine form when the Foxes visit Swansea on Sunday in the Premier League.
