Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa, was apparently unscathed by the sacking of Claudio Ranieri, his manager at Premier League side, Leicester City.
Ranieri, 65, was axed on Thursday after a run of poor result which has seen the league’s reigning champion slump into the relegation zone.
And Musa, who was one of the first signings brought in by the Italian in the summer, showed no pity over the dreadful treatment of his manager.
Instead, the 24-year-old flew to Medina, Saudi Arabia, barely 48 hours after featuring in the club’s Champions League defeat to Sevilla.
The ex-CSKA Moscow star shared a picture of himself in the Islamic capital – attached with some inspirational message.
Musa’s latest post will come as a surprise to many considering the timing amid outrage over Ranieri’s dismissal.
He is expected to feature when they face Liverpool at the weekend.
