Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, is in high spirits after his club, Leicester City, produced an unbelievable performance against Liverpool to win their first game of the year.
Ndidi has endured a rough patch since his move to the Premier League in January – which culminated in his manager, Claudio Ranieri, being sacked last week.
The Italian who led the Foxes to Premier League success last season paid the ultimate price for an abysmal campaign which saw the club slip to the relegation zone.
But an improbable outing at the King Power Stadium on Monday in which Leicester defeated Liverpool 3-1 has given Ndidi and his teammates some glimpse of hope.
It was the Nigerian’s first victory in the English league.
Ndidi was simply extraordinary in middle of the park, winning nine tackles which were the most by any player in the encounter.

Winning for the first time in England was an experience the 20-year-old will definitely treasure for a long while.
He then took to Twitter to celebrate that milestone win.
