Super Eagles forward, Brown Ideye, has expressed delight after making his debut for new club, Tianjin TEDA, in the Chinese Super League (CSL).
Ideye, 28, joined compatriot, Mikel Obi, at TEDA from Olympiacos towards the end of the Asian transfer window in February.
The ex-West Brow player was unable to feature in the club’s season’s opener last week against Shandong Luneng but got his opportunity on Friday away to Jiangsu Sainty.
TEDA secured their first point of the season thanks to a goalless draw with Sainty.
And Ideye who will be expected to provide the goals for the modest club took to Twitter to celebrate the outcome.
Played my first game today with @TianjinTeda_FC, Wonderful performance today from everyone, 1 point away from home.

TEDA, which is skippered by Mikel, climbed to 11th on the log with just one point from two games.
Their opening game of the season ended in a disappointing 2-0 loss to Luneng.
