Manchester United have earned an unwanted record for themselves in the 2016/17 Premier League season.
The Red Devis have clung onto sixth position in the league for 100 consecutive days.

Jose Mourinho’s team have remained on that spot on the log since December 4.
In fact, the run is a Premier League record Mourinho would rather not have set, as it is the lowest ever position they have ever spent 100 days or longer in.
Aside from a spell of 119 days in second during the 2011-12 season, every other run of consecutive days in the same position has been because the Red Devils could not be deposed at the top of the table.
United’s longest period of consecutive days in the same spot was during the 1993/94 season when Alex Ferguson guided his players to the title, finishing eight points clear of second-placed Blackburn Rovers.
During that campaign, they spent 259 days in first, while they have also surpassed the 200-day tally in 2000-01 and 2006-07 during title-winning campaigns.
United currently sit just one point behind Arsenal and two ahead of Everton in the 2016-17 league table, and could find their run ended on Saturday if the Toffees defeat Hull City.
The Red Devils do not play until Sunday, and would be temporarily overtaken by Ronald Koeman’s side should Everton win this weekend.
