Radio presenter, Daddy Freeze, has hit back at one Pastor Humble Okoro who claimed the controversial broadcaster is possessed by 52 demons.
Owerri-based Okoro had said in an interview that the Lord revealed to him on April 1 that a celebrity will jump into the Lagos lagoon and that he should come to Lagos to pray so that more people will not do same.
He then added that Freeze, who has become the scourge of Nigerian pastors with his #FreeTheSheeple crusader, was not normal.
“I saw about 52 demons inside him, helping him to criticise the men of God,” Okoro declared to the shock of his interviewer.
That declaration did not escape Freeze, who in an Instagram post on Sunday jibed that Okoro “was anointed with engine oil”.
The man born Ifedayo Oladiran further made mockery of the purported April 1 revelation, asking “Are you sure it’s not an April fool prank?”
Freeze continued: “Suicide demons in the lagoon? Lagosians are done giving offering to your kind, so please carry your enterprise back to Owerri and stop trying to make merchandise of us.
“Why won’t people kick against the ‘salvation’? Only fools are easily parted with their money in a recession!
“Ask me for forgiveness for daring to insult me in your mindless and unlearned interview and I will willingly give it to you! The Bible says rebuke, if they repent forgive.”
The faceoff between Freeze and Okoro started after the former criticised the pastor’s crusade themed ‘Dealing with the Suicide Spirits of Lagos Lagoon’ held in Ajah on April 13.
Okoro responded with a post in which he declared boldly that “DADDY FREEZE NEEDS A SERIOUS DELIVERANCE”.
To make sure his message gets as far as possible, the man who calls himself missionary pastor tagged some bloggers and celebrities like Ayo (AY) Makun, Gifty of BBN, Linda Ikeji and Chioma Akpotha.
