Star dancer, Kaffy, has enlisted other celebrities to empower dancers and performers in Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Accra at The Dance Workshop 2017.
The programme, according to organisers, is a theoretical and practical project created by Kaffy to educate dancers on the ethics and business of dance. It will cover important topics such as attitude and talent, finance in dance business, branding and the best use of social media, importance of technique and skill acquisition.
Facilitators will range from entertainment professionals, celebrities, representatives from financial institutions and media relations experts.
The list of celebrity facilitators includes P-Square, Kate Henshaw, Alibaba, Omawumi, Daddy Showkey and Lamboginny.
Business professionals expected include finance and money experts like Nimi Akinkugbe, Arese Ugwu and Bukky Karibi-Whyte.
The Dance Workshop 2017 will also welcome Hollywood, an international dance choreographer who has worked with various recording artists such as Chris Brown, Ciara and Rihanna.
Most recently, Hollywood choreographed Beyoncé’s On the Run Tour, Nicki Minaj’s Billboard Music Award performance as well as Jennifer Lopez’s American Music Award.
The dance workshop will run from June 6 to 11.
