Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has accepted to pay for the repatriation of the corpse of Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya, from Canada after an offer by Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State fell through.
Publicity secretary of the burial planning committee, Yomi Fabiyi, disclosed this in an Instagram post on Monday.
The former Lagos State governor, Fabiyi said, made the promise after meeting the late actress’ daughter and two older brother.
Moji, 42, died on May 17 two months after she was delivered of a baby girl.
An initial offer by Fayose, the governor of the deceased’s Ekiti home state, was reportedly not followed up by the burial committee.
