Fayose’s advert has done monumental damage to Jonathan’s campaign – Dele Momodu

Dele MomoduPublisher of Ovation International magazine, Dele Momodu, on Monday added his voice to condemn an advert published in the day’s edition of The Punch, saying it was a setback for President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign.

In a message he posted on Twitter, Chief Momodu said “This Fayose ad has done monumental damage to the Jonathan campaign; it is the last straw to PDP’s campaign of calumny against BUHARI.”

Fayose adEkiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, sank to an all-time low with the pro-Jonathan campaign advert in which he warned Nigerians against voting for General Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) come February 14.

Titled Be Warned, the advert had pictures of General Murtala Mohammed, General Sani Abacha and President Musa Yar’Adua all of whom died in office as Nigerian leaders. There is also a picture of General Buhari with a question mark on his face with the message “enough of state burials.”

In his own reaction, Chief of staff to the Edo State Governor, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon declared “That Fayose newspaper ad is up there with the infamous #BringBackJonathan … Mindless Cruel and insensitive drivel…”
