In a message he posted on Twitter, Chief Momodu said “This Fayose ad has done monumental damage to the Jonathan campaign; it is the last straw to PDP’s campaign of calumny against BUHARI.”
Titled Be Warned, the advert had pictures of General Murtala Mohammed, General Sani Abacha and President Musa Yar’Adua all of whom died in office as Nigerian leaders. There is also a picture of General Buhari with a question mark on his face with the message “enough of state burials.”
In his own reaction, Chief of staff to the Edo State Governor, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon declared “That Fayose newspaper ad is up there with the infamous #BringBackJonathan … Mindless Cruel and insensitive drivel…”
