In a move that surprised many, Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband, Oladunni Churchill, on Friday sent her a happy birthday message as she clocked 32.
The man, with whom the University of Portharcourt graduate has a one-year old son, wrote in an Instagram post: “Happy birthday to the mother of my king. I wish you God’s blessings today and always.”
While she has not responded to her ex’s message, the Family Disgrace actress acknowledged a cake from her son and his crew.
Tonto Dikeh and Churchill got married in a traditional ceremony in Portharcourt August 2015.
Both parties painted images of a happy marriage on social media until news broke in January 2017 that the actress had moved out of her matrimonial home.
What followed was a bitter war on cyberspace where both parties made demining allegations against each other.
In an interview with YouTube channel, the actress accused her estranged husband of infidelity, infecting her with STD, extreme violent physical abuse and fraud.
She claimed in an Instagram post that she lost a pregnancy during an episode of domestic violence.
On his part, Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband accused her of extreme anger, destruction of property and substance abuse among others.
