Super Eagles players on Wednesday joined teammate, Leon Balogun, to celebrate his birthday.
The Mainz defender clocked and some of his colleagues stormed social media to shower wishes on the German-born player.
But surprisingly, none thought of doing likewise for the national team coach, Gernot Rohr.
Rohr happens to share the same birthday with probably his most trusted defender, though the Franco-German was born 35 years earlier.
Happy Birthday @LeonBalogun wishing you all the Best in life mate✌?❤️

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) apparently wasn’t biased, sending a goodwill message to both.
Happy birthday to @NGSuperEagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr and defender @LeonBalogun. ????????? pic.twitter.com/helCcZz5qA

Balogun hasn’t featured lately for the Eagles due to injury with many attributing the loss against South Africa to his absence.
Rohr will be hoping his birthday mate gets back to his best ahead of next month’s World Cup qualifier against African champions, Cameroon.
