Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) leading goalscorer, Stephen Odey, continued his superb run by notching his 16th of the season for Mountain of Fire Ministries FC (MFM FC) on Wednesday.
Odey’s strike helped MFM overcome visiting Sunshine Stars 2-1 at the Agege Stadium.

In a game devoid of outstanding creativity and many chances, the 19-year-old’s effort proved to be the game changer.
Tchato Giscard had given the host the lead after 27 minutes.
But Odey’s penalty finish 11 minutes from time took the game out of the reach of Sunshine who grabbed a consolation through Ajibola Otegbeye.
The victory means Olukola Boys remain second place on the log with 43 points.
Table toppers, Plateau United, meanwhile continued their onslaught on the league by beating Nasarawa United 1-0 in Jos.
The only goal of the game was scored by Emmanuel James from the penalty spot in the 62nd minute after Peter Eneji was fouled inside the box.
The win sees Plateau bounce back from their matchday 25 2-1 away defeat to Abia Warriors.
Plateau United now have 48 points, after 26 rounds of games played so far.
