Publisher of Ovation International, Dele Momodu, on Tuesday joined those praying for quick recovery for Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar, currently undergoing treatment for fibroid.
In a message posted on Instagram, the 57-year-old celebrity journalist encouraged the ailing actress to “please get well and stay strong”.
He added that people are on their knees praying for her.
Momodu’s prayer comes a day after the actress thanked wife of the Kogi State Governor, Rashida Bello; fellow actress, Tonto Dikeh, and others who have reached out over her ill health.
The Kogi-born actress, who reportedly underwent a surgery for fibroid in India, sent the thank you message in an Instagram post by her brother, Isah Abubakar, on Monday.
“On behalf of our big sister, we want to thank everyone who called, commented and prayed for her. We all are grateful,” the message began.
“We love and pray for God to keep uplifting you for all you do for everyone. For being a mother to our sister. Your kindness will never go in vain,” it concluded.
Tonto Dikeh had promised on Sunday that she would take care of her colleague.
