A TV adaptation of Nollywood box hit, Fifty, will premiere on EbonyLife TV on Thursday, July 27 with Nse Ikpe-Etim missing in the line-up.
The 42-year-old, who stars as Kate in the 2015 movie directed by Biyi Bandele, did not make it to the small screen for personal reasons.
Her place has been taken by Keira Hewatch, who joins Ireti Doyle, Omoni Oboli and Dakore Akande as the leading women in the romantic drama about midlife adventures.
Set in the ever-bustling megacity of Lagos, Fifty follows the lives of four women -Tola, Elizabeth, Maria, Kate – as ambition and betrayal threaten their relationships.
Tola, played by Dakore, is a reality TV star whose marriage falls apart, thanks to an unpleasant family secret.
Elizabeth (Ireti) is an accomplished and celebrated obstetrician whose appetite for younger men causes a strained relationship with her daughter.
Maria (Omoni) has an affair with a married man that results in an unexpected pregnancy.
Kate (Keira) battles with a life-threatening illness which plunges her into religious obsession.
Executive Producer of the project, Mo Abudu, is excited about the series and looks forward to its television premiere.

The series also stars Uzor Osimkpa, Linda Osifo and Tosan Ugbeye completing the female ensemble.
Wale Ojo, Kachi Nnochiri, Timini Egbuson, Chris Attoh and Taiwo Obileye bring a strong male presence to the line-up.
South Africa based director, Akin Omotoso, brings the script to life and steers the actors to polished performances.
Fifty is an original EbonyLife TV production and will air every Thursday as part of the Big Story line-up, designed to give viewers exhilarating, emotional drama each week.
