Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, has been left wondering if God would forgive former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, following allegations that she misappropriated billions of dollars.
Alison-Madueke was petroleum minister from April 2010 to May 2015 under former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Last week, a Federal High Court in Lagos ordered the interim forfeiture of a $37.5m property on Banana Island, Lagos bought by the 56-year-old in 2013.
The US Department of Justice had filed an application seeking the re-possession of assets valued at $144 million linked to her a few days before then.
Reflecting on the alleged mindless looting, Don Jazzy asked in a tweet on Thursday, “So if Diezani should say ‘GOD forgive me’ will her soul be saved?”
So if Diezani should say “GOD forgive me” will her soul be saved last last? ?? Ahh this life.

His reaction comes a day after Nollywood actor, Aremu Afolayan, rained curses on the ex-minister over the same matter.
The son of the late theatre icon, Ade Love, and brother to filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, delivered his message in a video recorded in Yoruba.
Alison-Madueke is reportedly receiving treatment for cancer in the United Kingdom while facing a series of multi-billion-dollar fraud investigations by Nigerian and UK authorities.
Among those named as her accomplices are businessmen Jide Omokore and Kola Aluko.
