Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted bitterly to a CNN trivia about President Muhammadu Buhari’s continued absence from the country.
The American news channel had on its Fareed Zakaria GPS broadcast on Sunday posed the question: “The head of state from which country has not set foot in his homeland in over two months?”
Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Nigeria, and Syria were given as options.
Of course, the answer was Nigeria.
This prompted the 56-year-old Nigerian opposition politician to curse those he claimed brought shame upon the country.
Watched @CNN last night. The shame that these beasts brought upon our nation will be multiplied in their lives a million fold. We warned!

President Buhari travelled to the United Kingdom on May 7 for medical follow-up.
He was not seen until Sunday last week when All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun, led a delegation of some of the party’s governors to see him.
Another delegation of APC and opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors visited the President on Wednesday.
Buhari’s return date is yet uncertain.
