He might be in a relationship with a billionaire’s daughter, but singer-songwriter, Mr Eazi, says he is not carried away by the shiny things in life.
The 26-year-old made this clear after a meddlesome Twitter user took him up on a post he shared on Friday.
Posting the cover art of Shatta Wale’s new song, ‘Haters’, on which he is featured, Eazi wrote “Fake smiles when they see me! Dem dey watch my face! & demma pray to Medusa make I fall from Grace!!”

Someone with the username @KhenteseKenny was, however, more interested in the value of the chain the artiste wears.
If the musician can’t afford a gold chain, he should ask his rich girlfriend, Temi Otedola (referred to as Odooh), to the user reasoned.
if you can’t afford gold tell odooh to buy for you cos am tired of ur farmer necklace

Without taking offence, the singer responded that he fancies what the ‘hater’ referred to as “farmer necklace”.
He added that he has been mining gold since he was 20 and is not freaked by it.
Lmao! I just fancy the farmer necklace e dey bee me pass! At 20 i was mining gold so e no dey freak me https://t.co/lsAwywXjg8

Further comment by the Twitter user that the singer was lying was rightly ignored.
Known for what he calls Banku music, a sound heavily influenced by Ghana (a country once known as Gold Coast), Mr Eazi has two albums – About to Blow (2013) and Accra to Lagos (2017) to his credit.
He was recently announced as the fourth ‘Up Next’ artiste of the month on Apple Music streaming platform.
