President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday returned to Nigeria after spending four days in London.
The President touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 7pm.
He was received at the airport by his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Muhammad Bello, the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, among other dignitaries.
With him at the airport also were Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu; Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, and Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari.
President Buhari had left the country on Sunday, September 17 to attend the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
He left New York on Thursday for London where he spent about four days before returning to Nigeria.
No official reason was given for his London visit but unconfirmed reports indicate it that he was there for medical reasons.
