Chelsea fans have been hit hard with the unpleasant news that star striker, Alvaro Morata, may be ruled out of playing for at least six weeks.
The striker who has hit the ground running with seven goals and two assists limped out of Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to City at Stamford Bridge with a hamstring injury.
But with the extent of the injury still unknown to the player, he linked up with the Spain Squad on Monday.
Only for the Spanish Football Federation to reveal that the 24-year-old had sustained a grade two hamstring tear.
This latest development has left Blues faithful fuming at their ill-luck.

And just when I think this week couldn’t get any worse, Morata faces 6 weeks out, argh! Doubts with Batshuayi #CFC??

Morata apparently has a grade 2 hamstring tear, which normally takes 4-8 weeks to recover. Not good news. ??? #cfc

Oh well if #morata getting injured wasn’t going to happen ?we have now 1 striker who not rated by the boss! Typical #cfc

Regardless of the length of time Morata is out for ludicrous not to get another decent striker in when Conte obv doesn’t rate Batshuayi
