Globetrotting singer, Wizkid, has expressed sadness at missing the traditional wedding of Banky W and Adesua Etomi in Lagos on Sunday.
The multiple award winner, who rose to prominence after the release of his 2010 single, ‘Holla at your Boy’, on Banky’s label, Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), posted his regret to Instagram on Sunday evening.
“Lord knows how sad I am missing this special day,” he wrote.
He, however, promised the man he calls “big brother and boss for life” to be at the church wedding scheduled to hold in Cape Town, South Africa.
Among those present at Sunday’s traditional wedding was Uche Odoh, the model turned photographer who appeared in the ‘Holla at your Boy’ video.
Uche ditched her butch image for a rare dress made from the aso ebi chosen for the event.
The woman often rumoured to have had an affair with Banky called Adesua “our wife”.
