All is not well at Vincent Enyeama’s French club, Lille.
Last week, the Ligue 1 outfit indefinitely suspended Argentine boss, Marcelo Bielsa, after six months in charge.
His contract was later terminated – a move which hasn’t gone too well with the ex-Lazio manager.
Now Bielsa and the club are embroiled in a heated legal dispute over his severance pay.
Bielsa, through his legal representative, revealed he would go to the Legal Committee of the Professional Football League (LFP) to record the breaking of his contract, after Lille fired him last Wednesday.
His lawyer emphasised the fact that the Argentine was not previously informed of his dismissal, which would allow him demand superior compensation.
However, Lille have informed the gaffer that the legal meeting is set to take place Wednesday.
It has all become very messy and, as such, the 62-year-old’s removal as head coach seems destined to be resolved in the courts.
Bielsa was axed following a string of poor results which left the club starring at relegation.
The former Champions managed just three wins out of 13 games under the former Marseille coach.
Enyeama, recuperating from injury, did not play under Biesla.
