Barely three weeks after tripping on the AFRIMA stage in Lagos, Seyi Shay, ditched her underwear to give a generous view of her buttocks in a racy dress while on a date with a mystery man in New York.
“Celebratory dinner! Sexy night out in the city,” the singer, who was at pan-Asian eatery, TAO Uptown, wrote about her night out in an Instagram post.
“Love the way this fabulous dress fits my figure,” she added.
The dress by Omar Salam of Sukeina is designed to make sure the wearer’s nipples and derriere are on show.
Commenting, media personality, Tolu “Toolz” Demuren wrote: “Seyi is that your booty I see? Why didn’t you wear shimmy??”
In one of the pictures posted on Instagram on Friday, Seyi Shay, 31, and her mystery date are seen walking hand in hand with their backs turned to the camera.
She added a hashtag that says what happens in New York stays in New York.
Seyi Shay was in the Big Apple for the Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA) held at the Symphony Space Center.
She was named Afro-pop female artist of the year at the award ceremony.
The video of her song, ‘Yolo’, directed by Meji Alabi, also won best music video of the year.
