Writer, journalist and public relations practitioner, Anthony Onwordi, popularly known as Toni Kan, as resigned from ntel.
Until his resignation, which takes effect from January 1, 2018, Toni was the head of corporate communications at the telecoms company.
Confirming the resignation to Qed.ng on Thursday, the 46-year-old said: “I am taking time off to rest and recharge, then starting a training school and returning to running my PR business and Sabinews.”
An English Literature graduate of the University of Jos, Toni previously worked as director of marketing and strategy at Next Newspapers and head of corporate communications at Visafone among others.
He is a managing partner at marketing communication firm, Radi8, and founder/editor-in-chief of online publication, sabinews.com.
