Nigeria’s D’Tigers have been drawn alongside Australia, New Zealand and Canada in the basketball event for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The 21st edition will be held in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
Basketball will feature in the competition for the first time in 12 years after the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games.
According to the fixtures released by the organisers of the competition, D’Tigers will start their campaign against New Zealand on Friday, April 6, before facing Canada a day later.
April 10 will see the 2015 African champions face the hosts.
The competition format pits the top two teams in each group with their foes from the other.
Nigeria was fully represented the last time in Melbourne, narrowly missing out on bronze medal.
