Pop star, D’ban’j, is no doubt an unapologetic supporter of President Goodluck Jonathan.
It would be recalled that the Nigerian Number 1 citizen refused to participate in a debate with his main challenger, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, then of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), in the run-up to the 2011 general elections but sat with the Koko Master for an obviously scripted interview session.
Jonathan is again up against Buhari, now of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the March 28 presidential election and D’banj is once again campaigning for his favoured candidate.
This time he is joined by former Mo’Hits label mate, Wande Coal, and Oritse Femi.
The three are seen in a video sponsored by the Nigerian Youths Positively Driven (NYPD), a group mobilising youth support for Jonathan’s re-election bid.
In the video shot on March 14, D’banj, who is NYPD’s ambassador, takes the two other musicians on tour of the Metro Train project constructed by Jonathan while the song, Top of the World plays in the background.
The three take turn to speak positively about the project as the video winds to a stop.
