Taking time out from the rigours of a busy campaign, Marouane Fellaini has trialled some of the most creative hairstyles of the season for the latest issue of GQ Style.
The Manchester United midfielder is known for his trademark afro, and he has allowed the GQ Style team to experiment with some extreme looks for their spring-summer issue.
In one picture, Fellaini’s hair is reworked into a ‘Mickey Mouse’ style and in another, his hair is tied back by a bandana.
The photoshoot took place alongside an interview in which Fellaini discussed his reputation for being overly aggressive, his manager Jose Mourinho and his country Belgium’s chances at the World Cup.
“I think it’s easy for them to portray me as an aggressive player but I’m not,” he said. “I try to play my game, I try my best to recover the ball quickly: that’s my job. Try to be better all the time, to give my best for the team, for the club. I always want to improve.”
Twitter came all out clamping on the Belgian.
