The police in Enugu State have begun an investigation on the alleged gang-raping by some suspected youths in the state during a concert by pop musician, Flavour, at the weekend
Enugu police spokesman, Ebere Amaraizu, announced this in Enugu on Monday in a statement.
The Enugu state command of the Nigeria Police Force through its operatives of the Independence layout Division have commenced a full scale investigations into the alleged conduct of some people ranging from attempt to gang rape a victim as well as other offences.

He said that policemen from the Independence Layout Division of the command arrested the suspects at Michael Okpara Square, Enugu on March 31.
Social media accounts claim that at least 20 women were allegedly raped and many more left with their clothes torn at the show which was attended by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
Other artistes who performed at the show include Phyno, Tekno and Flavour’s blind Liberian protégé, Semah G. Weifur.
“It was gathered that one person who is already helping police operatives in their investigations have been arrested for his alleged role in the attempt to gang-rape a victim at Michael Okpara Square axis during a musical concert.
“Also arrested were three others in relation to alleged offences of snatching and stealing of cell phones during the event.
“Those arrested will be made to face the music in line with various provisions and specifications of the law after a full investigation,” the police spokesperson said.
Flavour, 34, real name Chinedu Okoli, organised the show for free to entertain the people of his hometown.
Organisers were, however, overwhelmed by the crowd that turned out to see their favourite musicians perform.
