Ace comedian, Ali Baba, is upset with Nigerian youths, whom he says neither “read to comprehend, nor want to learn the ropes.”
The 52-year-old had on Tuesday shared a post saying he was giving out 25 million naira to people with great business ideas, courtesy of business mogul, Aliko Dangote. He, however, revealed that it wasn’t real. It was an experiment of sorts and the result of the experiment was quite enlightening.
Before writing that he was giving out 25 million naira with help from Dangote, Ali Baba shared a post where he said he wanted to teach young people some of the things the late Steve Rhodes taught him, which helped him get ahead in life.
According to him, only seven people commented to indicate interest in the lessons from Rhodes. But when he shared that he was giving out money to businesses, the post got lots of comments. He also got direct messages from people asking for the money.
What was however surprising to him is that most of them had no business ideas and were asking for the money to do things like open a church and sort out their families.
From the outcome of his little experiment, Ali Baba concluded that “few want to put in the work.”
