Pop singer, Davido, has revealed that he paid N15million for the medical treatment of a female worker at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The 25-year-old made the disclosure in a video he posted on Instagram Story showing some airport workers with placards thanking him for the generous donation.
“Aaww I paid for the surgery of a lady that works at the airport and they did this to thank ME! SO CUTE!” he wrote.
The placards by the airport workers had inscriptions like “Omo Baba Olowo, Thank You, N15 million no be joke”, “Davido we love you” and “Thank you Davido.”
Davido in 2017 promised to build a house for a young fan who became an internet sensation after a video of him singing Davido’s ‘If’ went viral on social media.
Unfortunately, the young boy named Utibe lost his mother before the house was completed.
