The Osun State Police Command has declared a manhunt for a middle age man simply identified as Soji for allegedly killing his girlfriend and dumping the remains in a pit toilet.
Detectives have exhumed the remains of the 19-year-old girl, Bilikisu from the pit toilet at Abaja compound, Balogun area of Osogbo.
The suspect is said to have dumped the corpse in the pit toilet after removing the victim’s eyes, breast and private part for ritual purposes.
It was also gathered that Bilikisu was Soji’s girlfriend for over three years.
Residents of the area said they knew Bilikisu as Soji’s girlfriend and that the duo engaged in incessant fight.
It was also learnt that they separated at a time and Bilikisu left Soji for several months.
The two eventually resolved their last misunderstanding and Bilikisu returned to Soji’s house, adding that few days after she returned to the house, she got missing.
When her parents could not find her, they went to Soji’s house and discovered he had absconded.
