Some viewers of the Big Brother Naija ‘Double Wahala’ have blamed Cynthia Nwadiora aka Cee-C’s attitude as the reason she left the show without any cash prize.
Cee-C came second with total votes of 28.04% after Miracle who took home the star prize worth N45million.
Despite achieving critical acclaim in the show for her constant fallout with fellow housemates and inconsistent statements, Cee-C failed to clinch any cash prize.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that several cash winning tasks were embedded in the show and housemates competed to grab them before the finale.
Other housemates, including Miracle, Nina, Tobi, Alex, Lolu, Ifu-Ennada, Rico Swavey, BamBam and Leo, had picked cash prizes as the show progressed.
Miracle won a total of 2.7 million Naira before clinching the grand prize; Nina and Lolu shared the SuperSport prize with an all-expense paid trip to Russia.
Tobi and Rico Swavey got one million Naira each for the Nokia creativity challenge, Ifu-Ennada and Leo won the ‘Pepsi rock the mat’ challenge; Alex won a kitchen revamp for her mother.
The viewers took to social media to evaluate the character and game plan of Cynthia Nwadiora aka Cee-C, who was termed the ‘the most bitter woman in Nigeria’ according to Google search.
NAN reports that according to some viewers, the show organisers used Cee-C’s dramas to live up to its ‘Double Wahala’ theme.
Cee-C, who is currently trending on all social media platforms as conversations continue to go on about her journey in the house, was up for eviction 10times.
Some viewers also stated that the organisers of the reality show realised that viewers voted for Cee-C to keep the ‘anger’ and drama in the house; hence they kept her to make more money.
Other viewers added that she ought to have been evicted or disqualified for her misbehaviour during the show.
Cee-C earned two strikes alongside Lolu for provocation, after a tussle which left Lolu badly injured.
Her constant shouts and quarrels, especially with Tobi Bakre, led her to be alienated by other housemates, who she constantly accused of ganging up against her.
She was seen by some viewers as a ‘sacred cow’ that got away with a lot of misdeeds, despite the fact that they contravened some rules in the Big Brother House.
Particularly, some viewers pointed out she was given very mild punishments for altering and disregarding a Payporte Saturday party dress and hauling insults at Tobi.
@Tosin tweeted, “Just like that, CeeC leaves the house empty handed. No cash prizes, no friends, no love.”
@Ymtkado tweeted, “Hmmm so sad! BB deliberately kept @ceec_official to make money! We were all enjoying the negative vibes of CC & asking for more!
“She will enjoy the publicity after the show but in the long run BB has used & ruined her! It’s a man’s world in our society! Tobi will move on.”
@Fantedokono said, “Leaving with no friends, love, or prizes. Just a bitter heart, more anger and pain.
“You could have been the winner if you had been more pleasant, since even in your shortcomings you came in 2nd place.
“Dear CeeC please let go of every bitterness in your heart. Let love lead,” she tweeted.
@Emjaysassy tweeted, “Dear Ladies, never confuse strength for bad behaviour, being vindictive and uncouth won’t get you anywhere in life. I truly wish CeeC can get some help; she sure needs it.”
Meanwhile, Cee-C’s fans nicknamed ‘Lashes FC’ (due to her love for eyelashes), have come under fire since the show ended on Sunday.
@Georgeousqueen90 tweeted, “Lashes FC did not win anything throughout the show. . Not even a jug challenge.”
@TweetOracle wrote, “Congrats to the Lashes FC for pushing us all the way to the finals. Y’all have been truly competitive to say the least.”
@Thepamilerin tweeted, “So CeeCee did not win anything Lashes FC how market.”
