Cool FM presenter, Destiny Amaka, walks away from engagement

Media personality and actress, Destiny Amaka, has revealed that she walked away from her engagement.

Amaka, who works as an on-air personality with Cool FM Lagos, took to Instagram on Thursday, saying that a broken engagement is better than a broken marriage.

She wrote, “I saw the ring my mums face, my friends and family who flew in cheering for joy. Fast forward few months, during the entire preparation for our traditional wedding we weren’t speaking, but they will tell you it’s normal, it happens.

“It’s not true! It takes immense courage to walk away from something you’ve been building for years. I gave the ring back, the cars, the house, and our investments all.”
