Nigerian Hollywood actor, Chiwetel Ejiofor, will be acting alongside Oscar winner, Angelina Jolie in the sequel to box office movie, Maleficent.
The Walt Disney Pictures production sees the London-born actor appearing on this box office beside Jolie who maintains the key role in the sequel.
Maleficent was first released in 2014 with Jolie playing the key role.
Other casts in the movie are, Michelle Pfeiffer as Queen Ingrith, Ed Skrein, Harris Dickinson as Prince Phillip, and Robert Lindsay.
Top Norwegian film director, Joachim Rønning, who co-directed Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will be directing Maleficent II.
The first part grossed over $750 million at the world box office and the sequel is expected to make better earnings.
Ejiofor, 40, is popular for his excellent role interpretations in Doctor Strange and 12 years a Slave.
The release date for the sequel is yet to be announced.
